Tharwa Management Consultancy is a wealth advisory and strategic planning firm dedicated to serving large, complex families of significant wealth, entrepreneurs and corporate firms throughout the Middle East. Tharwa provides advisory services on a wide range of strategic issues related to businesses, investments, succession and funding needs. Tharwa also acts as an independent partner conducting business and organizational reviews, developing implementable strategic and business development plans from market analysis through to project execution and launch of new business lines.
The firm was founded in October 2007 and is led by a team of management professionals deeply experienced with strategic planning, wealth management, family office investment and succession planning issues. Tharwa’s business operation is in Dubai and the client base spans the region.

The management team draws from international markets experience in wealth management, asset management, multi family office services, strategic advisory and management consultancy. The backgrounds of the professionals span regional markets as well as Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States.
The team is led by Faranak Foroughi, founder and CEO, who has over two decades of private banking and investment management experience working for families and ultra-high net worth clients in the Gulf.
Ruth-Marie Mackrodt has over 18 years experience in private banking, focusing on developing a UAE client base and family office function, and was involved in a number of substantial commercial property transactions.
